Thank you for your support of Per Mariam in 2025!
The editors at Per Mariam look forward to continuing to produce informative and uplifting articles for our readers in 2026.
(PerMariam) — Now read in almost 70 countries, Per Mariam’s growth this year has been entirely due to our loyal supporters.
In this Christmas Octave, the editors at Per Mariam would like to take this opportunity to thank all our readers and supporters for the growth which they have enabled during this past year. Over the course of the last 12 months the audience has grown more than threefold, and this has been especially rapid since October.
Per Mariam is run by a very small team, but our aim is to bring leading quality Church news and analysis in order to inform and edify our readers. We seek always to be honest and unflinching in difficult stories, whilst also seeking to care for readers’ souls by offering articles on spirituality and theology drawn from the Church’s tradition.
Thanks to your support, Per Mariam has now grown to number over 2,100 followers and subscribers, with many more reading the site without subscribing. We have been honored to earn the trust of many readers, and also endorsements from clergy including a number of prominent prelates.
Since October, the team has been able to give more priority to producing articles for the site and reporting on issues important for our readers to follow.
These include notable interventions by Cardinal Robert Sarah decrying the liturgy wars, and Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández’s controversial Marian text; providing breaking reports around Pope Francis’ hospitalization, including on X; explainers and analysis regarding the May papal conclave; breaking coverage of the act of reparation for the LGBT Jubilee in the Vatican.
Thanks to your support, Per Mariam has also been able to publish a number of exclusive interviews with prominent clerics, such as:
Raymond Cardinal Burke.
Gerhard Cardinal Müller.
Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone.
Bishop Athanasius Schneider.
Bishop Joseph Strickland.
In other online pages, the editorial team of Per Mariam has also conducted further interviews with Cardinal Müller again, as well as with Dominique Cardinal Mathieu and Father James Martin.
As a thank you to all our readers for your support of Per Mariam, here are some of the year’s published highlights, now made accessible to all readers with the paywall removed until after the Epiphany:
Francis, Leo XIV and Synodality: Same word but different meaning?
EXCLUSIVE: Cardinal Müller – Everybody has a right to listen to fullness of the Gospel
EXCLUSIVE: Abp Cordileone – Beauty of Latin Mass draws young people
EXCLUSIVE: Schneider - ‘the Church cannot continue into further confusion’
EXCLUSIVE Strickland interview: US bishops should respond to Fr James Martin’s scandal
Readers keen to follow Vatican news further may also be interested to know that Per Mariam’s Michael Haynes is also the Vatican Correspondent for Pelican+ and Vatican analyst for The Catholic Herald. This will bolster the reports produced for Per Mariam, since snippets of Haynes’ articles published on Pelican+ will be reproduced here, with a link for readers to continue to the full article should they choose. Those wishing to join Pelican can create a free account or open a discounted subscription with this link.
The team at Per Mariam wishes you all a very blessed and Merry Christmas, and many blessings for 2026. We look forward to continuing to bring you news from Rome that informs and edifies your soul.
Thank you for your support!
