Can you help Per Mariam continue?
The team behind Per Mariam is keen to build upon its success, hoping to expand the content and range of contributors. But this will take a lot of work!
(PerMariam) — Dear readers of Per Mariam, can you help the site continue to grow?
Per Mariam was established to provide a home for informative articles relating to the Catholic Church, with a special focus on Mariology, Vatican news and Catholic spirituality.
It is dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrows, the Co-Redemptrix, and aims to report on Catholic Church and to defend the Faith through articles on ecclesial news, apologetics, doctrine and spirituality.
The site was set up in early 2022 but with only infrequent posts and little to no promotion of these articles. It was only in February 2024 that more dedication was given to ensure regular content was posted on the site, giving a wider range of coverage of the key topics in Per Mariam’s purview.
At that time, there were less than 40 subscribers to Per Mariam.
Now though, through the grace of God, there are around 1,300 followers and subscribers to the site: a number which some sites may describe as modest, but given the youth of the site, its small set-up, and the limited time which has previously been available, this growth of Per Mariam is particularly notable. Each reader has played a part in this growth of the site, and for that the team at Per Mariam thanks you very much indeed!
In recent months, the readership and subscriber count to Per Mariam has grown organically and yet significantly – with growth being particularly fast in the last few months.
This has required significant amounts of time and resources being spent to maintain the professionalism of the site and to ensure high quality of content offered for readers, including expanding the exclusive articles only found on Per Mariam.
Plan going forward
The team behind Per Mariam is keen to build upon this success, hoping to expand the content and range of contributors. But this will take a lot of work!
To ensure the continued growth of the site and to expand the content offered, some changes will be taking place as certain articles will be just for paid subscribers, while others will remain open for everyone to read.
Currently content is divided into three main kinds:
News
Analysis
Spirituality
Going forward:
Analysis articles will be reserved to paid subscribers.
Spirituality articles will be for all subscribers, both free and paid.
News articles will also be for all subscribers, both free and paid.
At three weeks after publication, all articles – apart from Spirituality articles which will always be free for everyone – will be reserved only for paid subscribers.
Those wishing to assist Per Mariam via a paid subscription can do so either monthly or annually:
$6 per month
$60 per year
Your support ensures that this work can continue!
{If you are a member of the clergy and wish to continue reading but without being able to afford a subscription, then email the editors at permariamsubstack@protonmail.com.}
